T-Mobile unveils Wi-Fi router for mobile broadband

October 3, 2016

T-Mobile has unveiled a new docking station for its 3G mobile broadband dongles.

The docking station functions as a Wi-Fi wireless router, allowing up to three users to access the internet at once, over the same connection.

Software supplied with the docking station sets up any computers that want to access the Wi-Fi network.

Docking stations will be sim-locked, meaning that they will only work with T-Mobile dongles.

The T-Mobile Mobile Broadband Share Dock will be released in shops later this month and will come bundled as standard with £20 per month 18 month contracts.

Current T-Mobile customers wanting a Share Dock will be able to purchase one from T-Mobile stores. Prices will vary depending on the customer’s contract.
